Ageless Inger (84) tattooed a dragon on her leg.

Inger Jondal

When Inger Jøndal decided to tattoo a dragon on her leg as a symbol of the Year of the Dragon, it marked the beginning of a delightful journey for both the studio and Inger herself. Not only did she get an amazing tattoo, but a video of the session went viral on TikTok, racking up thousands of likes and shares. Even the national newspaper Dagbladet joined the buzz. Read the inspiring story of how Inger became a role model for everyone daring to follow their dreams, no matter their age.

A little while ago, we were contacted by the ever-joyful and ageless Inger Jøndal, who had envisioned getting a dragon tattooed on her leg here at our studio. She wondered if her age might be a barrier – but of course, it’s not, as long as your health is in check, and you pause blood-thinning medication a few days prior to your session! (Also, maybe don’t show up completely hammered – regardless of your age.)

Inger had a clear idea of what she wanted – a dragon on her leg, inspired by the fact that 2024 is the Year of the Dragon. An incredibly cool idea we simply couldn’t say no to! The task went to our talented artist Turgay, who took on the challenge with enthusiasm. The result? A stunning dragon that truly captured the essence of Inger’s strength and personality. As for her fantastic sense of humor, we’ll save that for her next tattoo.

And it doesn’t stop there! We filmed the entire session and posted a TikTok video that completely blew up. At the time of writing, the video has over 5,500 shares and 25,000 likes – absolutely wild! In fact, Inger garnered so much attention that Dagbladet picked up her story and wrote an article about her. We couldn’t be prouder of Inger, who has undoubtedly become one of our most memorable and inspiring clients of the past year.
