Oslo Tattoo Show 2025: A new era for Norwegian tattoo culture?

Tattoo conventions are not just fairs – they are meeting grounds. Vibrant hubs for artists, enthusiasts, collectors, and curious souls. A place where ink, needles, and passion come alive. After years of silence and longing for a worthy arena in the capital, we can finally say: The Oslo Tattoo Show has arrived!

From August 15th to 17th, Oslo will be transformed into an international hub for tattoo art, thanks to Dinson Purcell and his dedicated team at You Gotta Love It Tattoo. With deep respect for the history of tattooing and a sharp vision for the future, they are elevating the Oslo event to new heights – and we at Masterpiece are more than excited about it.
‘Oslo deserves its own tattoo convention. We want tattooing to be represented the right way. This is an art form with a rich history, and we would love to share and pass on some of that knowledge,’ says Dinson Purcell."

What to Expect
Oslo Tattoo Show 2025 brings together some of the most exciting names from both the Norwegian and international tattoo scene. From traditional craftsmen to modern innovators. Expect live tattooing all weekend, panels, art exhibitions, music – and above all, a truly special atmosphere.
This isn’t just about getting a new tattoo. It’s about meeting artists face-to-face, discussing styles, learning, discovering, and maybe even finding your next artist. For both new and seasoned tattoo lovers, this is a weekend and an event you don’t want to miss.
An Industry in Motion
The tattoo industry is constantly evolving, and conventions play a key role. They create space for networking, inspiration, and dialogue – and show clients just how broad and rich this field really is. Oslo has long needed a platform like the Oslo Tattoo Show – and now, we finally have it.
We at Masterpiece applaud the effort of Dinson and his crew, and encourage everyone who cares about ink, culture, and true craftsmanship to show up, support, and be part of writing the next chapter in Oslo’s tattoo history.
