Not only did she get an amazing tattoo, but a video of the session went viral on TikTok, racking up thousands of likes and shares. Even the national newspaper Dagbladet joined the buzz. Forever young Inger (84) got a dragon tattooed on her leg

Not long ago, we were contacted by the ever-spirited Inger Jøndal, who had made up her mind: she wanted a dragon on her leg. Her question to us was whether her age might be an obstacle. The answer is straightforward — no, it isn't, as long as your health is good. The only thing we ask is that you stop blood-thinning medication a few days beforehand, in consultation with your doctor.

Inger had a clear vision. 2024 was the Year of the Dragon in the Chinese calendar, and she wanted to mark it with a tattoo to match — powerful, vivid, and full of character. An idea we simply couldn't say no to.

From idea to finished artwork

The assignment went to our Turgay Yalçın, who embraced the challenge without hesitation. Turgay specialises in micro realism and detailed line work, among other styles, and the result was a dragon that truly captures the essence of Inger's strength and personality. Her sense of humour, we'll save for the next tattoo.

The entire session was filmed and posted on TikTok — and the video absolutely took off. At the time of writing, it has received over 5,500 shares and 25,000 likes. The story attracted so much attention that Dagbladet, one of Norway's largest newspapers, published a feature about Inger.
