Things you should know
How much does a tattoo cost in Oslo? Prices at Masterpiece Tattoo
Dreaming of a tattoo but wondering about the cost? At Masterpiece Tattoo Family in Sagene, Oslo, we are open and transparent about our pricing. Here we explain how our pricing works — so you know exactly what you're paying for.
How tattoo pricing works
The price of a tattoo depends on time, size and complexity. The more detailed and time-consuming the tattoo, the higher the price. This is industry standard at all professional studios in Oslo — and it ensures that you always pay for actual work, not a fixed design.
Our prices
Standard pricing
Minimum price: 2000 NOK (includes the first hour). Additional time is charged at 1000 NOK per started half hour.
Example: A tattoo that takes 1.5 hours costs 2000 + 1000 = 3000 NOK. You pay for the time the artist spends — simple and predictable.
Typical tattoos within the minimum price include dates, names, small symbols and simple fine line designs.
Electric Linda — custom design
Looking for something completely unique and artistic? Our internationally recognised tattoo artist Electric Linda offers custom designs at an hourly rate of 3000 NOK. With over 25 years in the industry, 52 awards at international competitions and a worldwide network of studios and conventions, she creates tattoos that are as much works of art as personal expression.
Styles we offer
Whatever you're dreaming of, we have an artist who masters the style. At Masterpiece Tattoo Family we offer fine line, realism, colour realism, micro realism, black & grey, freehand tattoos, cover-ups, dot work, floral designs, Norse mythology and animal portraits — among others.
